The Laura Ashley Tea Room is the one people remember. Full of natural daylight, styled down to the last detail, and quiet enough that conversation actually happens across the table. It suits a long lunch, an afternoon tea, or a sit down dinner for close family. Dukes Steakhouse can also be taken privately, which works beautifully if the couple would rather have a proper meal than a party.
For 40 to 80 guests
The Mayor's Chamber gives you a handsome room with space for a top table, a bar and enough floor left over for speeches and dancing. If you want something with more character, The Cellar sits below ground with its own bar, exposed brickwork and a dance floor. It is informal, a little unexpected, and it tends to keep people in the room until the end of the night.
For 80 to 180 guests
The Ballroom, in the Old Buckingham Town Hall, is the grandest room in town. Crystal chandeliers, high ceilings and proper proportions. It seats up to 180 for a meal and holds 200 for a standing reception, so a golden wedding with the full extended family is comfortable rather than crowded. It can also be divided when you want something smaller without losing the setting.
