All great hotels need a fantastic eatery for their hungry guests, and the ever-popular Dukes Restaurant & Bar is exactly that. Having held an AA rosette for more than 14 years and having featured in the very first Michelin Guide and in each guide ever since, the cuisine at Dukes is evidently some of the highest quality around.

The chef brigade takes great pride in delighting the diners with their sumptuous and locally sourced modern British dishes.  The à la carte menu changes with the seasons, and the set-price market menu makes for a great value alternative. The chef’s selection of freshly cut sandwiches with homemade cakes, scones and pastries can be enjoyed each day, with the Battenberg being a particular favourite.

The Dukes Bar has maintained all the character and ambience of the old coaching inn, with flagstone floors, inglenook fireplace and original beams. A well-stocked bar of real ale, beer, wine and spirits are on sale alongside the bar and snug menu, which is sure to have something to sate your hunger.
